These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Cloud Commute website www.cloudcommute.io, the Cloud Commute web application, and any related services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

1. About Cloud Commute

Cloud Commute ("Cloud Commute", "we", "us", or "our") operates an online platform connecting employers and recruiters with job seekers. Cloud Commute is not an employer, recruitment agency, or employment broker.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Services and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

You may not use the Services if you are subject to sanctions or located in a country restricted by applicable UK, EU, US, or international sanctions laws.

3. Accounts and Access

3.1 Account Creation

  • Browsing job listings does not require an account.
  • Applying for jobs or posting jobs requires an account.
  • Accounts may be created using email/password or third-party authentication providers.

3.2 User Profiles

Job seekers may create profiles, upload CVs or resumes, and manage profile visibility settings. Cloud Commute does not guarantee recruiter contact or employment outcomes.

3.3 Account Responsibility

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for all activities conducted under your account.

4. Employer Services and Payments

4.1 Paid Features

Certain features, including job postings and featured listings, may require payment. Fees may be charged on a one-time or subscription basis.

4.2 Billing

All fees are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated. Payments are processed through third-party payment providers.

4.3 Refunds

Refunds are issued on a case-by-case basis at Cloud Commute's sole discretion.

5. Job Listings and Applications

5.1 Platform Role

Cloud Commute acts solely as a platform intermediary and is not responsible for:

  • The accuracy or legality of job listings
  • Employer or candidate conduct
  • Hiring decisions or outcomes
  • Employment negotiations or disputes

5.2 No Employment Guarantee

Cloud Commute does not guarantee job offers, interviews, employment, or hiring success.

5.3 External Applications

Some job listings may redirect users to third-party websites. Cloud Commute is not responsible for third-party content or practices.

6. User Content

6.1 User Submissions

Users may submit content including job listings, profiles, CVs, and related materials ("User Content").

6.2 Content Responsibility

You represent that you have all necessary rights to submit User Content and that it does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

6.3 Content Removal

Cloud Commute reserves the right to remove or restrict User Content at any time, with or without notice.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to engage in any of the following prohibited activities:

  • Scraping, crawling, or data mining the Services
  • Reverse engineering or interfering with platform functionality
  • Using the Services to compete with Cloud Commute
  • Posting fraudulent, misleading, or illegal job listings
  • Spam, impersonation, or abusive behaviour
  • Uploading infringing or unlawful content

8. Suspension and Termination

Cloud Commute may suspend or terminate accounts at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice.

Account deletion requests must be submitted to Cloud Commute directly.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Services belong to Cloud Commute or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

10. Disclaimers

The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cloud Commute disclaims all warranties.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cloud Commute shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages.

Cloud Commute's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim or £100, whichever is lower.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Cloud Commute from any claims arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes to These Terms

Cloud Commute may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
